10AM-7PM EACH TUESDAY & THURSDAY FOR 9 WEEKS BEGINNING JUNE 11TH

Water Otters Swim School is a leading swim school that invites students of all ages to learn to love the water. Our mission is to empower others in the water and in life! We are currently looking for enthusiastic, personable swim teachers who enjoy working with young children.

Qualifications

• Prior swimming experience, as well as experience teaching or care giving, are essential for this part-time role
• Experience working with children (in a pool or classroom setting and/or knowledge of child development) is required
• Must display genuine passion for working with and educating children
• Must be dependable and able to firmly commit to a summer schedule
• Excellent communication skills as well as a personable and professional demeanor
• Creative, independent, out-of-the-box thinker
• Must have a positive attitude and a growth mindset
• Valid driver’s license and CPR/FA certification
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have reliable, personal transportation

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, design, and execute high-quality swim lessons for students of all ages and abilities using the Water Otters Teaching Method (typical student age range is 2-6yo).
• Simple tasks related to the pool and facility's opening and closure.
• Utilize the Water Otters Teaching Method while keeping each student's abilities, development, and comfort in mind.
• Maintain the safety of yourself, your students in the water, and other family members viewing lessons.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
